Antiwork

Capitalism is currently trying to operate on “the most desperate” principle.

They are no longer seeking talented and skilled workers, they simply want the cheapest, and to keep that bar low bringing in only the most desperate folks. This will be short lived, a few years maybe, as the software running their business can not be maintained by mediocre staff indefinitely. Also, perhaps more of a personal opinion, there seems to be an assumption from the top that the working class is stupid and weak for not figuring out how to exploit their neighbors and profit from it. I don't know which is more sad to me, the fact that a broken moral compass is considered a victory now in high society, or that the honorable challenge of being the best by simply offering the best product or service no longer enters in to the equation. I think a free market of supply and demand has many merits,… but this… this…

I think a free market of supply and demand has many merits,… but this… this is not that. Not anymore. It's a preditory system where markets are rigged, influence crushes healthy competition, and society is forced to accept written down rules to give up their rights, their privacy, and their dignity in order to use any product or service required outside of living in a cave in the forest.

Anyone who works hard should be able to make ends meet and have some left over. That is no longer possble for many. It's not lazy to stay home if going to work costs you more than you earn, it's just good business. So stay home. Spend time with your family. The system is about to fail. Why suffer further trying to be the crutch that helps it limp along. We need to rethink how our world operates.
