Long story short, from casual conversation with colleagues about my companies changes to it's pension scheme, I found out that I'm £400 worse off per year in comparison to 3 other colleagues that started 3 MONTHS after I started for the exact same job role. Apparently I was meant to have a pay increase after I passed my probationary period which never even happened. I don't know whether to be sad or angry, I just feel defeated.
You bet your ass I'll be giving HR an email about this, keeping a record of everything. Any higher ups telling me that I shouldn't be discussing my wages with anyone I will immediately call them out on their bullshit given that suggesting that is actually illegal. Only time will tell what happens; I think this has been the final straw and it's time I start looking at other jobs.
