So just the basic info about me. I'm an IT student at a university in Germany. As part of my curriculum I have to do a three month internship. So I applied at one of the biggest if not the biggest web dev company in my region. I got the position and went there on monday which was my first day, expecting a little tour and signing the contract. But nope. I got my first project which is basically a web application for a client and got to work. This being my first real “job” I didn't say anything. It wasn't until friday that I got my contract. And to sum it up: 40hrs/week at about 2.80€/hr (For reference minimum wage is about 9.80€/hr.) or to be precise with what's in the contract: 450€/Month. I work in a firm in Poland, and our TL (Team Leader) is considerably worse than other leaders. She got a job only because of nepotism and having ties with someone even higher up, even though she is not qualified, work experience wise or education. She mostly doesn't know what needs to be done, or what we produce or what the process is. The kicker? She got her friend into the job here, one of the starting positions. The new girl “M” has been here for barely a month, barely did anything, because she has supposed back problems and having some metal in her spine. Of course, TL and M are friends, and for most part of the month, they took breaks together in the middle of the work, M takes constant breaks (think like: works 5 min and then takes a 20 min break, M comes back and TL…

Looking at the rent in other states i feel deep jealousy.

Been in a lot of different jobs and it’s the same story every fucking time. Just a bunch of brainless corporate robots sitting at the top, pretending to know what they’re doing and talking about. When confronted about situations that are unjust or make no sense, they always deflect and bring out some nonsensical terms and reasoning. I have managers literally having ZERO positive impact on the team and wasting my time with useless ass fucking meetings to justify them getting paid. While everyone below works their ass off to generate revenue for the company and actually do meaningful work. I’m so tired of this fucking system and don’t want to work under superiors making more than me that are incompetent and provide ZERO value in their role.
