Dont know what to do
Not a native English speaker so yeah.. the works.. I started a new job at the beginning of 2022 and I think that I made a mistake.. The company seemed really good, but now I find out that a lot of people have been quitting and I guess that was the reason that they were hiring in the first place (which they told me they were expanding btw). Today the head manager was transferred to another position (TBD), apparently for personal reasons but his reaction to the news led me to believe otherwise. I feel like everything is going to shit, I work on the service/installation engineer area of vey specific industry and I honestly don't know enough of the equipment to make it work, more than half the team is new and is in the same position as me or worse. I hate being an employee in America
My job is now punishing us for taking our personal time when it is unapproved. However, they don't approve our time and they don't allow roll over. So we lose thousands of dollars or get multiple writeups. And there is nothing we can do to punish the company. It's technically not considered wage theft even though it results in thousands of dollars of wage loss. If my 401k wasn't tied up I would bail tomorrow.
