Five delivery teams quit yesterday
I work at one of those big home improvement stores. One of our appliance specialists was yelling this morning to another employee. Later I walked up to him to see if he was okay. He said yesterday five of his delivery teams quit mid-shift. TEN PEOPLE QUIT SPONTANEOUSLY, SIMULTANEOUSLY leaving the warehouse without drivers. Later heard it may be due to the switch in how they’re getting paid: now by delivery instead of by day. It sucks for the customers who were out of their “needed” items, but GOOD ON THOSE DRIVERS! If any of you are in here, I’m glad you know your worth!
I work in legal tech support. My specialty is not only computers and the specialist software lawyers use but also understanding their special needs. I was working for a multinational law firm – in a shift, I could take calls from Sydney, London, Hong Kong, and St Petersberg. I joined this company in 2018, and it was my first legal support role.
