For context – we're located in Germany where worker's rights are pretty strong. I hope this post is understandable for foreigners too. If not do not hesitate to ask any questions. The last weeks have been tumultuous. We're a small company of roughly 15 workers. When they tried to fire a long-term employee we decided to start an intervention by founding a worker's committee. As one of the employees initiating the founding of a worker's committee she would enjoy protection against dismissal. She left our company nonetheless because she got a better offer and I'm so proud of her! But by law she was still a regular employee til the end of February and she kept supporting us in the process of getting unionized. As we're a small business our worker's committee will be consisting only one member by law – I am one of two candidates by now. When…

I had been sick and missed some days of work, along with having tech issues which werent even my fault(it was a work from home job). A soulless call center service job, where I was at least attempting to do the best I can. Dedicated 6 months of my time, just to wake up yesterday and have all of my accounts deleted and not even be told I was fired. They didnt even have the courtesy or courage to say it to my face. I called my contractor who got me the job, they werent even made aware until they called. Honestly I just feel uncared and disrespected from the jobs I've worked and I'm in a cycle I don't know how to get out of. Fuck this system.
Yep,nit my problem.

At some point will they just stop asking about this? -By the way I'm not anti-vaccine nor is this post intended to be a political statement.
I don't want to give too much information, but I want to know if I'm making a mistake and thought this community would be brutally honest. I am not college educated and have never before been in management. I worked as a bank teller and in accounts receivable until I had my first child. I have been out of the workforce for 16 years. Last year, I heard about a company needing a P/T (6 hours/day) receptionist. I decided to dip my toes back into the working world. Life was starting to become too expensive to live off one income. I am very intelligent. I excelled in school and although I stopped working, I never stopped learning. I read and am self-taught in a lot of different areas. I am a good and reliable worker. I don’t abuse company policies, but I make sure I do take all benefits that…
