Is it possible to resign as effective immediately? Can corporate give you grief for that? I'm in an awful position at work and just want to leave ASAP. Thank you!

I gave my two weeks notice and told my boss that I will help make the transition easy. I gave my notice because I am severely underpaid for all the things I currently do for the office $22. I manage multiple accounts for all of our employees where I've seen people get paid up to $35 for what I do. Last week she wrote me a list of amended job duties on top of things I currently do, effective next month. This entails me basically doing the job of 3 people in one. Those seats alone pay for most people to come back to 40 hours a week. Ownership like this is why millennials are so fucking angry right now and these people can fuck themselves. Never believe your CEO when he tells you things are rough because they’re lying. It’s a cover up that tries to put you and them on the same page of suffering, when in reality they’re cutting your lower middle class wage so their lives go unchanged.

I'm 21 and i graduated with degree in English in the country where i am from, but this is just useless. I can't get any decent job besides mcdonalds or some stupid shop.
