Clueless Upper Management
For real though.
I don't claim to be knowledgable about economics and I don't want to dismiss the possibility of families enduring hardship as a result of this hypothetical. But… aren't we already enduring hardship? Are things not worse than ever, while that hardship remains completely invisible to the ruling class? This seems to be the only thing close to a class equalizer I can think of. Temporary in the long run of course, but it's a passive protest idea that doesn't involve getting shot and/or arrested. I'm already drinking powdered milk, so if I have to feel like I'm living during the great depression, why not make the elite feel that pain too? I'm next to broke so I'm probably going to withdrawal my sub-thousand dollars for the time being anyway. Let me know what y'all think about my idea of accelerationism.
An apt description of work
Just highlighted the section where they say not to ask about the salary or discuss pay unless the employer brings it up first. After getting finding a new job, I gave the recruiter some feedback on the process. I told the recruiter that the only companies afraid to discuss salary are the ones who aren't paying competitively. that they should look into reworking their interview “tips” to be more employee friendly. I think it's important to ALWAYS push back against normalizing this. https://preview.redd.it/lz1lair1szfa1.png?width=813&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=798c5990f9cb5c34f96d189f6baa58073d58ca07
I received an email this morning saying the company tried to charge me a “direct debit” for the bonus I received. I don’t keep money in my checking therefor it didn’t go through. Is this legal? Or has anyone experienced this?
