We are on the cusp of the greatest generational wealth transfer in history. Many millennials and Zoomers will suddenly turn into millionaires and billionaires overnight, just because their parents and/or grandparents pass away. Hopefully that does not hurt the antiwork and workers’ right movement.

why we tell everyone to learn to program
I had the good job at the good company. The company everyone in the industry wanted to work at. The company you work hard for because they treat you right. That rare, rare gem. I had it for almost 8 years. Boss's son takes over and he's every single worst boss's son stereotype. The fiscal new year isn't until April. They didn't have to do this. He did it for the lolz.
I’ve been working in hospitals for 2.5 years (not a nurse) and I have never gotten covid. Earlier this year I moved across my state (U.S) and after 6 months of trying to get a job, I finally got one in the same field I had been working in. It’s not great but it pays okay and it’s not working in fast food. This place is an absolute mess. The kind that has high turnover rates for obvious reasons and it only took one month for me to become a supervisor (I have previous experience anyways). Last week I fell terribly ill but fought through it but it became obvious I had covid and I let my boss know Tuesday morning last week. I had NEVER gotten covid while working in hospitals and I’m so annoyed because I’m shy of my 90 days and have no insurance/benefits and I’m not…

So I found this article today. https://www.visualcapitalist.com/companies-revenue-per-employee/ It's from 2017 true, but just shows you how much you are worth to the company versus what you get paid. That company might be making $100K or $1 million dollars in revenue off your labor while you get minimum wage.
Weird flex but okay
They waste your time not giving the salary, you waste theirs. Even if they have other candidates to replace you will still waste some of their time.
