Is this the breaking point?
I just want to know if this is finally the time for all of us to come together and riot and demand better? Top companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and may others have just laid off 10,000+ employees with NO REMORSE. I have a friend who works for Amazon and hearing the pure panic and fear in their voice not knowing if they’ll be next is soul crushing. Why do we put up with this treatment? Look I understand we are all tied to our jobs for health care and we’re all one check away from being homeless. But is this not the fire we need to demand change? I will fight, protect, feed, and shelter as much people as I can and you bet your sweet bums I will be the voice for everyone. Not sure how to do it or start but by sheer anger and hope for…
reporting manger spoiled my PAR review
My reporting manager is envious, the same manager who gave me a good hike last year turned out to b a-hole and downgraded my rating because of personal envy with me. Listed out BS reason in PAR form and now my rating is below average. when asked on claims, refused to tell me the reason saying he has no obligation to prove his allegations me .I am so done.
Need a second job
Love it when it's the new year and retail starts cutting hours like we don't have bills to pay. The pay here sucks and now my manager is going around saying that I'm “whining” about not having hours all because I asked her if there any shifts available for me. Is this how corporate makes their money? They just cut hours from January to April? This has only happened to me once at my last job and they only just cut 30 minutes which I had no problem with. I feel like they're not supposed to do this and the only other option I have is to find a second job and it sucks because I'm trying to start a new semester and now I can't do that. I honestly hate Colorado but I don't wanna move back to Texas. I just feel so unhappy. And food is going up…
From November-May 2022 I worked for a privately owned child care center. I have never worked for a more emotionally abusive and manipulative organization. When I secured a new job I gave almost zero notice because I was afraid of retaliation from the director or owner. I simply told the owner of my resignation on my last day and submitted a letter of resignation to her via email after the conversation. Today I had a conversation with one of my old coworkers who is still working there and I mentioned not getting my W2 yet. She told me how a previous employee had her W2 held until she physically came in to get it. I know they have until January 31st. I’d prefer not to contact them but know that’s not a guarantee if it doesn’t arrive in the mail. How long should I wait before I reach out? And…
Can we do it? I mean, it has to come soon. Look at France. We just have to all stop working
Well that’s weird
From the CEO
I know, that sounds horrid that the bully of the world, has civilians that need help… but if they can’t speak up… who will? Workers have few if any rights. We can’t even speak up publicly for fear we’ll lose health care. Basic human rights like food and clean water aren’t even priority. They just keep feeding police and military. America is such a dangerous place, you can’t get near your representatives physically – for historical significant reference Versailles vs The White House. Their own government is documented fueling the drugs going into their communities. Lead is all over the pipes. BLM protests showed just how willing they are to ignore and destroy their civilians (95% peaceful). They have the ability to help their citizens and purposely chose not to While convincing them to call it handout, or socialism. They don’t have the right to peacefully assemble and protest -…
Confused about McDonald’s?
I’m having a bit of employment issues and not sure where to put this, but I need help. I recently filed to receive my employment statement (every job and every $$ of earnings I ever made) from SSA. Turns out, McDonalds which I worked at 8 YEARS AGO in a totally different state has me listed as still employed which is screwing up my benefits in my own state. How does someone fix this??
