Many say it’s needed because the work force is too low and life expectancy is increasing. Thoughts?

Negotiation Works
After not receiving a raise in 2022, I was adamant about getting one heading into 2023. Working in sales, I helped craft the comp plans for my team. When I showed the math to my leadership, I called out a raise for myself. After all, we exceeded all team sales goals in 2021 and then our sales goals were doubled in 2022, and we exceeded those. In a side conversation, I also presented why I should get my annual bonus despite the team not hitting our goals. Largely, it was because of customer revenue officially coming off the books despite the fact that they left us in 2020. I had proposed that I get the full bonus plus a 7% increase in salary. My leadership counterproposal: 50% of the bonus and a 14% raise. With the bonus structure, it ends up being a 17% increase. Roughly $32,500 extra.
Salary Transparency – Marketing
I've been working for a small/medium sized Marketing/Advertising agency in Florida for about five years now. It's not very well organized, super stressful, and management “isn't big on titles or hierarchy”. I'm a “marketing coordinator” and have been the entire five years, but my responsibilities are all over the place. CRM Management & Automation, SEO, SEM, Content Strategy, PPC, Social Media, Data Collection, Data Analysis, Data Visualization & Reporting, and I'm sure I'm leaving things off… Anyways, in the interest of Salary Transparency, I am currently paid ~$52,000/yr. I cannot figure out what I really should be making, and I'm getting the impression that my opportunity for growth here is hitting a cap, so I want to look for opportunity elsewhere. Can anyone else help give me some comparison data?
Having to pay a cleaning fee?
Is this some sort of sign?
I was contacted by a recruiter yesterday around noon about scheduling an interview. The recruiter seemed enthusiastic, as was I. Said that they are very interested in hearing more from me, and that I would receive an email packet/confirmation for an interview, as well as a phone call from her colleague later in the day. Told me all about the glorious opportunities they have for me with their company and how much I'll love the job. It's 8 pm the following day (32 hours later) and I haven't received any email, I haven't received any phone call. I kept waiting thinking they would send me something, but they never did. So now I have to wait all the way until Monday to call them and figure out what's going on. I hate how these companies waste so much time dicking you around like this. If you don't want to interview…
