The CEO at my company, in the US, which is relatively small compared to what I am used to, makes nearly 2m a year. He also had who knows how much stock, which is not included in that figure. Also, his stock sale/purchase records as an insider show he receives a huge amount of stock, as his largest purchase ever was under 1,000 shares, and his largest sale was nearly 20,000.
This guy gets paid nearly what some European bank CEOs get paid – and for what? Running a smallish corporation that doesn't even pay a stock dividend?
The employees here could all fit into a decent sized auditorium.
