so… i love my job. its in a field i enjoy and would be volunteering in if they weren't paying me to be there -and i could mentally afford to volunteer on top of paying bills jobs.
but sometimes i wish i could just close up shop and leave early.
i'm the manager so i literally could do that… but i also really really can't do that. some days i'm just sick of it all. i don't need to be there more than 35 hours a week. i probably don't need to be there more than 20. for some stupid reason -not my choice- we are open 7 days a week instead of 5 which means i always have to be interacting with people instead of doing the actual meat of my job.
its so frustrating.
i wish i could lock myself in the back room for 16 hours straight and get some of the fun work done.
sorry, probably just feeling grumbly because i haven't had a day off in a over a week. day off is tomorrow though
