Hi all, long story short, my company is really good to me, they have set aside time for each employee in case they get covid it doesn't come out of our sick leave and we are paid throughout. Last week, after avoiding covid for years I unfortunately had my first experience with it,and it messed me up pretty bad, Hospital visit and was out of work for 10 days, throughout my absence I was in constant contact with our HR department, sending them PCR tests and daily updates on how I was feeling and they were really kind to me the entire time. I came back to work to a slew of rumors started by the assistant property manager and a coworker that I was faking covid to get the paid time off and it's really upset me, knowing that while i was generally concerned about my life and health that people would accuse me of faking this, I dont know what if anything could be done,or if i should just let it go,but i can't look at them without getting angry.
