I just need to rant for a moment and see if this is normal for the corporate world. I'm currently an intern (6 ish months in) and have noticed my coworkers are always on slack. Even at 1am, they are constantly messaging about work and emails and projects all day long into the night. For me, once my work day is over I turn off slack but the next day when I log on I notice all of the messages they send throughout the evening/night. Is this normal for the corporate world?? Im thinking who lives like this where they cant even log off from work when they get home. To me it's just sad how work consumes their life and they have nothing else to do.
