This story is a bit conflicting. I guess its just a reminder not everybody in a management position is terrible. One day i was asked to empty two pallets of cola boxes onto carts, maybe 200+ which had never been a problem before. Idk what happened but i lifted one, and it was just black. Eventually I woke up and I was shaking profusely and stumbled away past all my
Co-workers. My breathing was weird and I had no clue what was happening. Next thing i know after blacking out again im sitting in the breakroom and my manager is dangling a pack of oreos in front of me because she thought i had a blood sugar problem lmao. At this point they called over the pharmacist and she checked my blood pressure. The reading was off the charts but i refused their offer to call an ambulance and was still not very coherent. I ended up taking an uber to a walk in. I had a stroke at 19 years old and i am a very athletic guy who eats well. They gave me a week off and luckily i recovered fast, but just the fact i got actual human emotions and pure panic from my managers was a good lesson they weren’t really so evil afterall. Customers told me i looked unprofessional during this though fuck customers. Would ask you questions if you were face down without a pulse.
