The cost of college is ridiculous nowadays. Forget about the current student loans. We need to stop this issue at the source immediately before it gets any worse. Even just year by year the cost of attendance at my uni has steadied +$500-1k. I know a freshman who enlisted in the army to pay for it because they said they had no other choice. He calculated his degree would cost near $200k. Enlighten me how a fresh grad is gonna pay off $200k debt that grows $20k every year on top of rent, food, and bills. Maybe in his life time, if he even gets a job. There is no free will anymore.
