Apparently, people have so many stories of going into debt in college and bad experience with textbooks and education materials handed to them. I was wondering if it would be better to go into trade school instead. I'm really afraid of potentially falling into student debt and having to pay them for the rest of my life. I have so many interests and jobs I want to choose from but I can't make up my mind. At the time of writing this I'm in my third year of high school and we're learning how to be a good worker to appeal to interviewer and employers and make resumes.
Young people are pressured to make up their minds on what they want to do and whether they want to go to college or not. It's tiresome, to be honest. I come from a low income background. I plan on getting a job in retail/fast food because those are my only options at the moment at my age. I like learning about electronics, fixing game consoles, and learning languages. Do you guys have any stories and advice for people in their teens? Is trade school a good decision? Financial literacy tips?
