This has been eating at me for a while and I’m finally posting. So I applied for a job and got an interview. I then unexpectedly had to deal with a family issue. I intended to call or email and explain the situation. However, since I didn’t call en route to said situation, I was told this goes against the company’s way of doing business/ values. I know people here like to really make fun of employers, but did I actually do something wrong/ unprofessional? I totally get I should have called, so I am wrong, but was I don’t reschedule the interview wrong?
