My company’s IT department is asking us to use our smartphones to either download an APP or use text messages for 2FA in order to login to our computer system. My state (IL) has a law in place that companies must reimburse employees if they are being directed to use their personal cell phones for work usage. Does anyone know if this qualifies under the law? Who do I contact to make a complaint? State attorney general ?
