looking for knowledge/opinions… I work for a subsidiary to a large oil company, they’ve just issued me a credit card for business expenses… once something is purchased I have to reconcile the transaction in a bank system then goes to multiple approval steps within the company before the company will pay the card balance… as part of the terms for having the card I am responsible for any late fees incurred on the card. How common practice is this? I feel uneasy about being responsible for late fees when I am reliant on layers of approvals that I have no control of.
-Reconciliation process is essentially uploading a receipt.
