In May of 2021 I was let go of a very hectic IT servicedesk, where I was working at. A merger was done between two companies of equal size, but the integration was awful, a previous system of IT applications and HR/Facility teams was broken up and the company grinded to a halt, resulting in too much work for the IT dept.
1st. I was let go and as a result the service level dropped even further.
2nd. My manager of my current job actively poached the team lead SD of the other merging partner (he told me of the 1st.)
3rd. I was told by my account manager that she fired that company, especially because the new SDM she found it hard to work with him to resolve staffing issues…
Because of this situation I was given back some money because the dismissal in retrospect was wrong.
I was very overworked, burnt-out, now I work in a much better place…
