Not sure if this is the correct subreddit, but my company is getting acquired. Will get a new offer from the new company in the next month or so. The reason I think it may fit this subreddit is because I would like advice on how to not get screwed in this new hiring – should I be negotiating? Anything I should watch out for? Anyone else has good / bad experiences with being acquired? If this is a bad place to post please let me know where to. New company is publicly traded and old company isn’t. I am new and don’t own any stock yet as it’s been less than a year.
