Mid last year our company said that sales were so good/we were having a record year so far (despite the pandemic) that they were giving an additional week's pay to all employees. Awesome! A few months later they stated they were giving an additional week's pay to anyone who had been vaccinated. Count me in! Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when annual bonuses are given – we usually know the set amount ahead of time. Lets say I was supposed to receive $3k. I only ended up getting $1500. When I asked my boss why the discrepancy they said 'oh remember the two payouts from last year? Those count toward the total amount.' After 15 years you would think they would be up front with you. While grateful for the extra money, it was not as advertised.
