My job had us fitted for respirators and claimed we need to be clean shaved now …(when I was hired I was never under the impression I’d need to shave we do construction) I showed up to our respirator fitting did not shave and they still fitted me but I haven’t complied since even though they said after I have to shave
I don’t know what to do in this situation I’m getting paid very well but come tf on really my personal facial hair is gonna be affected for a respirator I never even asked for ?? This feels like it’s crossing the line I’m very uncomfortable with this and don’t see myself shaving
What do I do in this situation. They can’t fire me for not shaving ?
