Completed my 2nd week today. Already feel like I’m about to get fired.

So I'm new at this company and a lot is going on. Im trying my best to learn everything as quickly as I can but my boss's boss is not happy. I overheard him talking to someone on phone and he said that he has a new guy sitting and doing training for hours, not making any money. Is it normal for employers to aspect that in 2 weeks you know everything about business?
