I recently put my notice in at my job and as always was met with the dismay of the owner. I hedged my bets and offered to stay another week if I received what would of been my end of year bonus on my last check. She drafted an offer letter stating the parameters, we both signed and moved on. Today the boss sent me a confidential separation agreement and I was always taught to never sign anything. Do I need to sign it for my proposed bonus if I already signed an offer letter with the owner?
