I asked this in legal advice and didn’t get a response. This is in Ohio for a Fortune 500 company. Every hourly technician on my team was given a raise recently. I was told when I entered my bosses office “before I tell you you’re new rate you have to sign this (confidentiality agreement) just so everyone isn’t talking around the building and causing and uproar”. I know they have every copy on file in the HR office. Is this legal and how should I go about this if not?
