27(m) I have been doing security for 4 years prior to this I was going from job to job and pretty much homeless, recently I have been hearing talks of my company possible losing a contract (the current spot i work) I have heard this all last year and an old worker said the casino says this often but never does anything.
My security company isn't the best out there they don't really pay well but its a job I have thought about looking elsewhere but ik stuck on how safe I am.
They can risk to lose a good worker.
My apartment is close so I ride a bike to work and back ( 60 miles a week) and got my apartment to pretty much work around my lack of transportation.
My goal was to work on getting a trade this year
So I can move from this job but if the contract gets lost then either way I'm screwed if I have to spend money to get to work and back.
My rent is 800 for a studio I make like 1600 a month.
I started to look for jobs around me wheather its fast food or anything in general that might be better than where I am currently.
Im afraid to make a step, it took me 8 months last year to get on my feet. I have been in my apartment for 7 months now.
Lease ends 2023 I just want to progress in my life by then.
Any advice sorry for rambling ive been in my head for hours.
