Contact your representative and tell them to adopt permanent Standard Time, not permanent Daylight Savings Time.

Background: The US Senate just voted unanimously to abolish the horrible annual switches between Standard and Daylight Savings times and to institute permanent Daylight Savings time. In order to become a law, this needs to now pass through the House of Representatives. Permanent Daylight Savings time may be a bit better than switching times, but sleep experts agree that the best option for our health is permanent Standard Time (the option where “Noon” means that the sun is at its highest point, and “Midnight” means the actual middle of the night). Basically standard time is best for our circadian rhythms and sleep cycles. Of course, Congress being Congress, they'll probably want to prioritize business over people's health. But if enough people make a fuss, maybe they'll listen to us. And members of the House of Representatives are more likely to listen to their constituents than Senators.

Here's what you can do: go to https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative and type in your zip code to find out who your Representative is. Then find the link to send them a message. (There may be a little mail icon below their picture.) Fill in your info and compose a short polite message letting them know that permanent Standard time is better than permanent Daylight time. You could back up your message with facts from this or basically any other news article about the subject. Don't subscribe to their newsletter unless you enjoy reading spammy self-promotion.
