I have at least one co-worker who occasionally brags that she never calls off. She's also been the recipient of multiple Perfect Attendance awards. I can only eye-roll. This is the kind of corp simp/slave capitalism loves. She also gets excited when the upper management does their parade circlejerk to present awards and “photo ops”
