Until Mid-January, I was quite okay with my job. However, our boss decided to reduce our bonus in the middle of a crazy inflation. The boss was actively lying to us saying that the company doesn't make lots of profit while the CEO openly said that 2021 was one of the best years for the company.
Besides, my apartment is fucking corrupt. I'm not talking about sugarcoating things, they are straight up selling product A but are delivering product B, which has completely different characteristics.
When I asked my team lead about a raise, he said that I'm already earning TOO MUCH. Can you believe that? So I sent my CV to a couple of companies and got two job offers within about one month, one with a raise of 45 percent, one with 48 percent.
My coworkers were talking about those things during lunch but weren't too bothered.
I haven't yet put in my notice but even though my employer is acting so shitty, I'm still feeling guilty? Like that I shouldn't leave, that I'm a bad person for complaining about those things.
