My plant HR is always rude and like to belittle the employees that people don’t even want to go to them. I try to avoid going there as much as I could, and there’s this situation that I have no choice but to associate with them. My grandpa is really sick back in my hometown, and I want to go visit to see him. Since I don’t have enough vacation hours, and grandparents are not primary family members, I want to figure out it’s there any options for that. I went and explained the situation. Midway through, she just shut me off with “are you going to resign?” With the mocky tone which I find really disrespectful and rude. I am just wondering if I have to report to cooperate, which category it would fall to?
