Before you dive into this, I’m mostly just going to rant about Cracker Barrel’s shitty hiring practices because I’m furious.
Recently my girlfriend, and I moved into a new apartment right before she lost her job and I lost my new remote one because Comcast had me down for a day and they fired me. I got another job to pay bills in the meantime and she was recently interviewed by Cracker Barrel a little over a week ago and was hired as a server.
She came in on her first day (yesterday) and they still didn’t have her in the system after that period so they sent her home and said to come in tomorrow. The very next day the same manager who couldn’t figure out how to add her just called and said “we don’t need another server right now” with no other explanation. Then why the fuck did they hire her before proceeding to waste over a week of our time when rents due soon. So yeah fuck Cracker Barrel and rant over.
