Cut my two-week notice short today

Last Monday, I put in my two week notice at a job that has underpaid, with no overtime, for work that typically required me to work nights and weekends beyond my scheduled hours in the day. (The job is hourly but I was told specifically I could not go beyond 40 hours of pay, even if my projects required evening or weekend work). When I put my notice in, my boss said I could set any day between then and my notice date as my actual last day as long as I notified them of it. I decided today would be my last day, so I sent my boss a very detailed email with all the plans and transition documents needed to help us all move on. My boss responds and says that I’m required to be in the office all day today, and that I won’t be paid for…

My boss responds and says that I’m required to be in the office all day today, and that I won’t be paid for last week’s hours if I don’t come to the office today. I dropped my equipment off at the office and left. I won’t be threatened with that kind of bullshit.

If she wants to play the fuck around and find out game, we can get attorneys involved ASAP.
