Since the overwhelming popularity of this sub earlier this year, the content has consistently diminished.
Rather than being a community to share: employer exploitation, unbelievable manager responses, and helping others get a good job, it’s becoming a dumping ground for people just wanting to whine or bash others for working.
God forbid someone has to work at a low-income, unfavorable, or tough work location. For many that’s the starting point or their only option. However, this subreddit only sees the monetary value and takes into account no other merit of what those jobs entails.
Some of the highest paying jobs in the United States requires 50+ hours of work. Regardless if you own the business or work for an employer. Even influencers in social media put in countless hours. But this subreddit bitches the moment you have to work more than 20 hours, but have grandiose expectations. Where the fuck are you seeing that a millionaire, a upper middle class, or anyone who’s educated or in a uniformed service works less than 20 hours. NO WHERE. Get over yourselves and go back to helping our fellow redditors identify toxic abs unhealthy work environments.
TLDR: stop bitching that you can’t find a high paying job only working 20 hours. You’re stupid. Instead go back to helping other redditors identify and move away from toxic environments into better jobs.
