First time posting here. I'm an IT Support Specialist that usually handles client issues for our web application. I am now being demanded by the owner of the company(with only 1 day notice) to travel to various of his remote locations (some being up to 100 miles of travel) to clean up computer hardware. When I initially started this role, I was never informed travel would be involved and I was told I would only be supporting the web application. I don't mind polishing my skillset, but there is no mention of reimbursement for travel, I have to use my personal vehicle (and my only vehicle) to travel to these 100+ locations, and he basically told me to place client issues for the web application as low priority for the day. I'm already being paid way below market average and I can't afford the gas/wear on my vehicle. On top of that, my supervisor went out of town this week so he can't even speak up about this.
What should I do?
