So on Friday was my payday. I usually like to check on it around 12:30-1:00 in the morning. It wasn’t there which was odd. I gave the benefit of the doubt and gave it until 5pm to show. It didn’t.
They finally sent out a communication stating that they were going to send it out on Monday (yesterday) and apologized for any “inconvenience”. I was pissed off, but what can I do except wait for Monday, right??
Wrong, checked and checked and checked while I was working getting more and more pissed off as the day went on. Like why the f@&$ am I working when I still haven’t gotten paid? I’ve sent HR an email, but of course they take a business day to respond.
Today I wake up, and STILL nothing. I’m so extremely pissed off at this point. HR hasn’t bothered to answer me back. I have rent due today. I need groceries. This is f$&@ing ridiculous.
Oh and in case you’re wondering, I work at a huge company, not that it’s acceptable anywhere, but how does this even happen? And then they just expect you to sit around and be fine with it.
This was a rant, but any advice is welcome.
