I'm stuck in a disconnection webinar, sponsored by my government.
No fewer than 5 times has the presenter mentioned that there are limits to the number of hours an employee can be asked to work in a day, and there are still people given “but what if…?” as if he stuttered or misspoke.
The webinar isn't even about that (which is a basic thing written in law since… fuck, I dunno as long as I've been working). The webinar is literally about how to write a “Disconnection Policy” for your company and what should be included.
I fear for the employees at some of these organizations.
