I've been harassed for my sexual orientation since starting a new job last summer. After spending weeks trying to get a response from HR, I was terminated today after telling my attacker to send any messages to my manager rather than myself. It's a huge statewide hospice agency and it absolutely floors me that they have people working in this organization with these feelings. Just the thought of this population having to deal with these bigots is incredibly saddening.
I suppose on the brighter side I don't have to deal with any of them any longer. Any tips for what to do with this type of freedom?
