I had an amazing conversation surrounding compensation with 2 of my coworkers last week and we all agreed that we will ask for a raise. If everyone ask the company will have to think of cautiously before saying no and one of the older people even told me the excuses they use to refuse raises so I can prepare, I’m still new so I will wait until I learn my job before asking but it never hurts to discuss your compensation. But be mindful that not everyone will be open with you, one of the coworkers I asked, she looked shocked and horrified when I asked about her compensation, we have the same job title.
