Nah shit. I'd love to. I'd love to get into a job I enjoy. The problem is that nowadays you're either lucky or you have to pick between what you enjoy and what's profitable.
Basically just me ranting because I'm fed up of being told this speech by everyone over 45 I've worked with.
And the best part? I already love what I do. I get to use my hands and don't have to think very deeply about my work. It's lovely. What I don't like is who I do it for. I don't like Where I do it.
I do my work in a warehouse rife with avoidable hazards and OSHA violations owned by a company that literally never calls me by name. I'm only #26 to management.
Just…fuck this place and fuck the endless speech.
