I walked out on my office assistant job last week, due to….BS. Lol
I have been there almost a year and all my checks have been direct deposited this whole time.
Which means Payday was Friday, 5/13. I usually get it early, but not this time. Friday came and went, no direct deposit.
I was supposed to pay my mortgage in full by the 15th. I don't have enough, because my employer/former decided to….mail me a check. WTF. I was the HR assistant, so I know this is retaliation. What do I do?
There is NO REASON my last hours would be held up, other than retaliation.
ETA: I was in the hospital undergoing emergency surgery. I came back to….chaos and hell. They gave me the ultimatum of promising perfection and never ever making a error again on their excel sheet, or being fired. I left.
