Long story short,
I have worked in a company for the past number of years. A few months ago I approached my manager about the possibility of a promotion, I was told yes of course once a position becomes available and that there will be loads of opportunities here..
For months I never heard anything else until two weeks ago and I get a phone call from my cousin who works in the same industry but with less qualifications and less experience.
He tells me my company contacted him about a senior position available and if he would be interested. This is the position I wanted and was never told was available.
So now I am pissed and have have been interviewing at other companies and received 3 job offers, all for better money and a promotion.
So my question is.. when I give my notice do I tell my manger exactly why? That I know the tried to screw me over ..
