Do not contact me on my day off.

I work for a restaurant. Management is shitty, pay isnt much better, and the volume of orders is horrific. Yesterday alone 6 people didn’t show up/decided to come hours late. 2 people walked off the line and quit right then and there. Woke up this morning to several missed calls and texts asking if I could come in. I’ve already worked 50 hours this week. I showed up to every one of my shifts. So do. not. call. me. on my day off. It is not my fault you can’t get people to show. It is not my responsibility to finish out other people’s shifts when mine was scheduled to end at a certain time. It is not my responsibility to save your ass. I am the bottom of the chain. I don’t get paid to fix the problems. You get paid to fix the problems. And I am not…

I am the bottom of the chain. I don’t get paid to fix the problems. You get paid to fix the problems. And I am not going to be the solution 24/7. Stop looking for temporary solutions for the day when you need a complete redo of how you run your staff.

And don’t. Fucking. Call. Me.
