Specifically North York, Ontario location. I am so disgusted by what I heard. My partner and I went for dinner and when the bill came, there was a surprise 13% service charge. I asked the waiter if it was a gratuity tip. He said no. He said the owners take all their tips. I asked him how much he makes working there and he said $15.00 an hour. Under minimum wage in Ontario plus the owners take the tips? I asked where the service charge goes and he said the owner. He said the owner complained about the amount of tips they STEAL from the servers so they tacked on this charge. I feel disgusted that I paid money to these owners that think they can get away with this. I really hope the employees there can find something better.
I am pleading with anyone in the area to never go there.
