I have been dealing with a medical issue that affects my ability to work. My boss and coworkers are aware of it, but I've mostly been dealing with the pain. I really hate this job for a number of reasons, and I want to quit. I am currently looking for other positions. Is it possible and/or legal to try to take short term disability leave until I get another offer?
