Does anyone else still feel kinda guilty and scared about calling out? (even if it’s for a legit reason and you realize the system you’re working for is abusing you)

So, I’m coming down with something (I’m pretty sure it’s a cold/flu) but I don’t want to infect my coworkers in case it’s Covid. Plus, I’m on new medication and I might be having a severe reaction to it (it’s to be decided at the moment as I’m monitoring it), so I decided to call off the next day. I don’t have any sick hours, so I’m kinda worried about calling out. I know this is a result of our capitalistic system making us think that work is more important than safety, but it’s still hard to get myself to call out. I’m still scared, even though I know a job like mine is a dime a dozen. How do y’all deal with this?
