DOLLAR GENERAL DOUBLE STANDARD

Ok so amongst MANY, MANY other things… One of the biggest “rules” of retail is making sure the shelves, aisles are neat, clean, organized, things aren't on the floor because customers could potentially trip and get hurt; it's a hazard. So for the past month we've been getting ready for inventory. My manager and the team busted our butts to get all the merchandise out of the back and onto the shelves neat and organized so the inventory team could come in and count everything and everything was ready to go. The inventory team came in today and in about 5 hours they destroyed the entire store… left things piled in carts, merchandise all over the floor, things thrown onto shelves…. After they were done counting they put none of it back. Trip hazards all over the place. Guess who is expected to put it all back?. I've never seen…

Guess who is expected to put it all back?. I've never seen anything like this and they already understaff us, which is why you see posts on social media about how the merchandise is piled all over the place in the aisles because we just can't get to it. I am tired of hearing from customers that the store looks bad because nobody wants to work, that is far from true we have a ton of applications, but they purposely understaff us . The turnover rate was so bad for the company last year they actually sent people out to interview workers and find out why!! Has anything changed? Nope!! This is by far the worst, most greedy company I have ever worked for. Like I said I could go on and on but this literally has me just baffled, simple solutions. And it's not like these places aren't making money.
They don't care about their employees. They really, really don't. The wages are terrible they rarely give anyone full time hours unless you are salary and then you end up working 50 to 60 hours a week. Only “keyholders” are guaranteed a certain number of hours so you could literally stand around and do nothing and the only thing that matters is if you're a key holder or not. There are double standards all over the place. Theft is a real issue, we stopped letting people use the restrooms because we kept finding merchandise tags in there, and then we were told that we had to let people use the bathroom but then get told about how are people stealing??? None of it makes any sense and it's exhausting.
