Don’t force yourself to stay if your workplace makes you sick (an update on my post about mysterious rashes)

I recently posted about a strange rash that appeared on me the day before I was fired. This is kinda an update but also a vent. I saw a doctor, my pcp, she said it's eczema. Fine okay whatever. Got prescribed some stuff and it started clearing up. I worked at a retirement home so naturally i became family with some of the residents. I went to visit one over the weekend, so I didn't worry her too much about my disappearance. (I did have a coworker tell her the day I was fired). My rash was clearing up, infection was clearing up, I go over there. Was there maybe an hour. Now my rash is spreading again. It's now all over my left arm, on my thighs, and still spreading across my face. Either there is a chemical in the air that I'm allergic to or that place stresses…

Either there is a chemical in the air that I'm allergic to or that place stresses me out so much I am making myself sick.

I'm not going to stop visiting the residents as I truly have grown attached but I must say, if your workplace is making your illnesses get worse, don't go back. Find a new job, shop elsewhere if you worked retail. It might be bad advice but it's one I might have to listen to because this is so bad.

I pray to whatever Gods may be out there, regardless of if I believe in them, that I can find a new job where my health isn't as severely impacted. (I have chronic migraines and arthritis in my major leg joints. Plus a plethora of mental illnesses)

Note: we don't use fragrances in any of our soaps or detergents, the ones that do have fragrance I've used for quite a while with no problem. We even make our own laundry soap to avoid fragrances and stuff that I'm allergic to. Allergens at home are not the cause of my rashes and I have been wearing long sleeves in public to avoid further irritants.
